When you shine the UV light after applying Glo-Powder, you’re looking for:
A roundish, glowing orb shape
Usually attached close to the scalp on a single hair strand
Attached firmly to a hair (dandruff and sand move!)
Larger and more defined than the mica powder (which can have a sparkly effect)
It’s simple science.
Lice eggs (also called nits) are made up of proteins.
Our Glo-Powder is specially designed to bind to those proteins.
When you shine the UV light on the hair, the powder that’s clinging to the eggs will glow — showing you exactly where they are.
So what you’re seeing is:
Glo-Powder + Egg Proteins = Glowing Orb
